Heidi and Rolland Baker both have Doctors of Theology, but their real
credentials are the selfless lives they live. Besides the orphans,
street kids, elderly, and disabled that they reach out to in Mozambique,
they also conduct 3 month Bible schools for poor pastors.
"As missionaries and ministers of the Gospel, we are devoted not
primarily to our work, but to our God. For this reason, then, we make
ourselves prisoners of the Lord. With the Apostle Paul, we will settle
for nothing less than to make ourselves His slaves. His way is the
best way, the cleanest, richest, most exciting, most heart-poundingly
romantic way available. May we all fear the slightest selfishness
or vanity that would dilute the power of the Holy Spirit among us.
May we strive for the greatest anonymity for the glory of our Lord.

Seth Barnes, Executive Director of Adventures In Missions Seth is
a friend of mine who spoke good things about me behind my back berfore
I even met him. He has been an incorrigible encourager of God at work
in me. He runs a short-term mission agency of the US that targets
the poor and hurting.
